The Fishing Update in Overlook Bay was a major update that overhauled the fishing activity. This update was released on November 7, 2020, and brought along several changes to the base game.
Changes[]
- The Barnacle's Bait building was moved from the beach to Marlin's Island.
- Several ships were added to the game which would transport players from the beach to Marlin's Island. Captain Pearl was also added to the piers where the ships would dock upon arrival.
- The broken submarine was added to the game, which could have been found lying atop Marlin's Island.
- Several different kinds of fish, the River Fish, Lake Fish, and the Ocean Fish were added to the game, and the Original Fish were permanently removed.
